Next time don't use PSU calculators because they overestimate by a lot, and that's not on accident.

Use my rig in bio for reference, also if you click the name of my PSU you'll be linked to the PSU tier list, you can decide on a good power supply from there.

450 watts should absolutely be enough.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

How many watts do I needATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

Depends on the 450W.

"80+" is not a brand.

The CX450 only has a single 8 pin PCIe connector. The 1080 Ti needs 2, so you can't power it with the CX450.

Doesn't specify WHICH "450W" PSU.

Gets angry at the guy who happens to WORK at Corsair.

Corsair CX 450 only has a single PCI-E 6+2 pin power connector.

Depending on WHICH brand model GTX 1080 Ti you have, it will require either

  • 6-pin PCI-E + 8-pin PCI-E connectors or,
  • 2 x 8-pin PCI-E connectors.

In any way, the CX 450 does NOT meet that requirement.

isn't that one 80+ bronze?

you need a new one for your build, as most 1080ti cards use 2 pcie cables, so tier C or higher I guess...

Depends on the 450W

What unit are you talking about?
A good one like Bitfenix Formula, Whisper M or Be Quiet Straight Power??
Or a bad one??

If you want to get it now, I'd not recommend going for a lower end Intel, go for a Ryzen 5/1600 or 2600. Those are Cheaper and you get 12 Threads and you can upgrade later.

Upgrading Intel is not something that ever made much sense...

Edit: if you need to lower the overall price of your rig, you could go for Ryzen 5 2600/X and a $80 motherboard, that could save you up to $100

You're wrong.
Pls measure YOUR PC before using a calculator....

And the Cooler Master is also this garbage Outervision thing that makes money with the affiliate Links. So they have a reason to sell you a 600W instead of a 400W one.

Enough power, but doesn't have enough PCIe connectors.  And I don't suggest adapters.
