570 and 1070 aren't bad prices. The Titan isn't worth near that if you're looking for performance.

That's an F in the profile pic

Again, 570 and 1070 prices look good but the 570 will run hot because the MSI Armor OC cooler is not that good.

Judge a product on its own merits AND the company that made it.

you can probably pick up an R9 290x for about 100£ and R9 Fury for about 130-50£

it depends on the market, but they should be obtainable around there.

In the used market EVGA is always a safe bet as warranty is still in place. 1070 best shout.

No the 1070 is not the only choice, since he said he's looking to change it later in the year. A 570 is half the price, and it gives decent performance in 1080p. If you get the 1070 might as well keep it and wait for the next gen, since it gives enough performance on 1440p.

In short: get the rx570 for 1080p or the 1070 for 1440p.

If you’re happy with less, sure. Wouldn’t use a 1070 on 1440 myself. A 1080 barely gets good frames.

Better card, better resale and a better choice.

I would personally go for the Titan because it has much better OC power. Have you considered water cooling it and then just clocking the clock speed up heaps? it might cool to say "I have a water cooled Titan in my system"

@Burnedice25 He said he is on a budget, how is getting a several generation old Titan and buy a complete loop for just the GPU or AIO to cool it even a remotely good investment? Not for that price as you could get a new card for $360 that performs better for the money and power draw.

I’ve had several watercooled titans. 5 of which won’t come close to a 1070.

As as much as I love my Titan blacks, I can’t recommend one at that price.
