B450/RyZen5-2600X Gaming Rig

Thavion Hawk

Here's a Gaming PC I built today before I got to building the mATX Thread Ripper System

CPU: RyZen 2600X

Motherboard: ASUS B450-M

Case: Cooler Master Master Box Pro 5

PSU: EVGA 500BQ

CPU Cooler: Stock AMD Wraith Spire

Memory: 8GB Crucial PC19200

SSD: 500GB WD Blue M.2 SATA

GPU: Gigabyte GTX 1050ti 4GB

OS: 10 Home 64bit

Sorry no picks of the system with the Glass on or at a a 3/4 view. The moment I finished this build I had to pass it off for QC to start building the mATX Thread Ripper Workstation.

I know that the Master Box Pro 5 has bad Intake Airflow because of the narrow air gaps in the front panel, but every customer I've sold it to simple took the front panel off or else did their own Mesh Mod. All that said, this is a very easy to cable manage case... If you don't have anything to run Power too other than the Motherboard... and in general.

Because the customer is playing DOTA2 and LOL. The extra $100 for a GTX1060 6GB(The only better card we have in stock) wasn't in his budget and really he doesn't need it for those games.

The RX570 exists. And is significantly better.

I work at a small store that can not stock a large variety of GPU's to fit every price/performance point. We stock GTX1060 6GB as out top, the GTX1050ti 4GB as Mid and the GT730 as a Ultra Low end GPU. I've just done two builds with RTX2070's but those are Special Order cards we can't afford as a store to stock. In this case, the customer wanted one of our systems built today and that meant selling him what we had that would fit what he wanted to do. Five hours after paying, he got his new PC. We are in Corvallis, OR, the closest Stores that stock and sell GPU's to us are BestBuy in Salem and Eugene or Fry's in McMinnville, oh and Wal Mart for full systems... but we don't count them.
