Thanks. But I would like to know by how much would it slow down to, since I may install a graphics card and it will take the first slot.

The H61 chipset uses PCIe 2.0. A PCIe 2.0 lane has about 500MB/s of bandwidth, or 4Gbps.

Hello,

I'm having trouble determining whether my motherboard ( ASUS H61M-CS ) support this card ASUS XG-C100C. I don't know much about PCI-E slots so, please help me out.

Thanks for your attention. I’m looking forward to your reply.

The network card uses x4 connector, so you can plug it in only into the top most slot, or the third one, as that one is open to accept longer devices, as it is physically and x1 slot.

If you install it in the last slot it probably won't have enough bandwidth to do 10 gigabit, so it will run slower.
