Thoughts on cannabis?

I am on the side of Cannabis and i smoke it. Saying it is not addictive is simply not true, it is addictive, not as addictive as Tobacco though. I know this from personal experience:

Me and my friends often go and smoke it together, then we'll go somebody's house and walk around the garden and eat chocolate... or something like that, it's amazing. I'm not addicted to weed, but my friends are. 

 

This could be due to the Tobacco on the joint or it would the the weed it's self, we don't know.

 

The one downside i can see, other than it's fairly expensive is the withdrawal symptoms... I'm not addicted, and i know i'm not; i don't wake up in the morning wanting a joint like i used to when i smoked, but you still get symptoms like strange arse dreams and insomnia... It's werid.

 

All i have to say is i'm on the side of it and enjoy it.

I'd venture that it's not any worse for you than tobacco, albeit in different ways. That's only based on fairly limited (though no doubt above-average) and faintly-recalled education on the subject as part of my degree. It causes demonstrable memory loss and other psychological/neurological symptoms, but that's arguably no worse than lung cancer.

It's a drug and it's bad for you. I do realize that there are a few health benefits to smoking marijuana, but I'm sorry, the bads outweigh the goods. I don't want to run the risk of getting brain damage from it, or run the risk of it affecting any of my other organs. Plus, marijuana is a gateway drug. You can deny it all you want, but it is. When marijuana can't give you that high anymore, you'll crave something stronger, and so you'll work your way up the drug ladder.

I'd stay far away from it. It kills people, causes cancer, causes liver damage, brain damage, and I even knew one friend that OD'd on it. It's a shame really.

if a fucking tobacco cigar can cause all sort of disease even less i would approve this never in life or death would do it, my mother smokes like 3 cigars a day since she was 20 years old, she's 53 now and has a serious disease called fibromyalgia, long story short it causes chronological muscle pain to the point you feel your arms are legs are going to implode any moment it happens, they say the main cause for this is long periods of stress but i call bullshit on that one since she quit for 5 years, since the day i was born to the day she got divorced from my father and according to him those years where the moments she was more healthier which it says something and because of it i hate it and if it was for me i would even make illegal any kind of cigar

Weed is very good in some cases.. Such as for cancer patients receiving chemo, as it increases their appetite. Also, you can't overdose on it.

But, wtf is the point otherwise? It tastes like crap, and I've honestly never found the effect it gives you anything great.

So is caffeine, for some people it's a gateway drug, me i will always steer clear of all that other shit; i know people who have overdosed and died.
