Those you don't upgrade you keep em, cuz the machine you run those windows on, they are already taking fire just by thinking about windows 10

8.1 is actually pretty okay. 8 is cancer but 8.1 is not bad. Not as good as 10 IMO but it is fine

There was a youtuber that made a video about trying to upgrade an old XP Lenovo to windows 10. I don't think he succeeded but it was an interesting video. I need to try to find it again.

 

EDIT: I think this was it.... it was an old IBM windows ME laptop

Ya its okay, but not great tho, like windows server 2012, who the  hell use that...

 

Those version were crap. W10 is okay, W7 was and will always be the best but its irrelevant now, just use w10

Yeah. I use 10 but a few of my friends use 8.1 for some reason. I know Kyle of Bitwit stuck fiercely to 8.1 for a while

Uncle Billy stopped working at Microsoft in a major capacity since 2007.

Look guys I admit it initially Windows 10 in 2015 was not a cool OS if you will.  Bugs and overhauls of interface etc etc.  Look MS gives us WIn 10 for free.  If anyone here payed for Windows 10 is dumb person lol.  Now its not free anymore.  What changed the OS was the one big huge update once every 6 months.  Every six months I would notice the changes and aditions.  Alto not a perfect OS.  After the Creators update and the following update 6 months later really stabilized this OS, made it perfect in everyway.

 

Now we have 1809 and dark theme pownz.  Now your explorer is sexy ,, its amazing.  THey should have done this long time ago.  Anyhow I think this 1809 is the best OS windows has ever made.

A Windows 10 image taken after running Citrix optimizer and/or decrapifier is a pretty nice tool to have for VMs or even a daily driver. However Windows 10 right out of the box has way too much bloat for my taste. Especially after forking out actual money for an OS license.

Bugs are against you. as part of the insider program I am against it too. But I like dark themes

Kinguin my man, Win10 for $30 and it's never failed me. Alternatively there are... sketchier ways

You can't upgrade from Vista to 10 silly. And compared, Vista has less bugs than 10. Never saw anyone complain about update breaking shortcuts, thumbnails, file association, deleting files, making whole OS unstable etc. during Vista era. Only that it might have been bit demanding for dual cores and under 4gigs of RAM.
