Building a pc

a really nice unit for this pc would be an evga super nova g3 750 watt

750W???? 550W is enough.

Anyway, for a good 550W unit, i'd recommend the RM550x although I don't know if EVGA has a G2 or G3 that's 550 or 500w only.

I have an EVGA G2 550w PSU. Seems to do the trick and is near silent.

It's better to get 650W, although 550W would probably be enough 650W or 750W would give room for upgrades

so is the conclusion an 650. Did i understand it right

The 650 is a good choice, and EVGA has a SuperNOVA G3 model. (According to PCPartPicker, at least in the US markets, the EVGA SuperNOVA 750 G3 model is the same price.

With an overclocked 1080 Ti, a good 550W is plenty. In Germany, the Straight Power 11 and Whisper M are good choices.

The G3 is a good choice, if you like your PSU to be really loud, and to be unsafe.

Yeah any ATX size psu will fit.

Be sure to check our forums PSU tier list however and select a PSU from tier 1 or 2 to get a decent one that won't kill your pc and light your house on fire.

Edit: the vengeance seems to be in tier 2, so you are good to go.

It's a decent PSU, but I have a hard time imagining a system in which it makes sense.

Odds are, you're better off getting a lower wattage, higher end PSU for roughly the same price. What are you powering?

For €80, there's the Whisper M 450W and the Focus Plus Gold 550W. Not that much more, but you get nicer PSUs.

A Corsair TXM or RMx/RMi would do well, and for EVGA a G2 is good
