Can you Over charge a Laptops Battery?

eh, Hey

 

I don't know why, But was wondering if it is possible, Due to hearing it is possible to over charge a iPhones battery, and wonding if you could do the same with a Laptops battery..  

 

Laptop: Lenovo Y530 Legion.

It also has a 135v?.. Battery charger thing.

No, unless you're using a charger that isn't mean for the laptop and supplies much higher voltage than the laptop is rated for.

I still tend to unplug it from the wall before I sleep, But its good to know.

You can't overcharge modern laptop batteries, they are protected.

Unplugging it is still good for battery longevity. No worries.

Most electronics' rechargeable batteries have protection circuitry that specifically prevents this, even with chargers not meant for the device. And despite what LTT reported a few months ago, it's likely they won't even fully charge the battery, but leave it slightly empty but still report basically 100% to help lessen degradation.

...and safer for sure. Even the original chargers can catch up fire.
