Can't use a controller in NFS

Hello!

Yesterday, at night, i downloaded Need For Speed Payback, installed it and opened it up, but I couldn't navigate in the menu with my controller...

So i opened up a different game and it worked just fine. Is there any way that I can fix this?

Did you manually map the controller in NFS? Because if it's not a controller it natively supports, you have to bind all keys manually.

Well, does it work in-game? Can you even see the controller in the controller section? If the game doesn't even see it, you're SOL.
