Dell G5 vs G7

I need a new laptop for programming and gaming. It looks like the new G series from Dell might be a good choice. But I can't decide if should go for the G5 or the G7. It looks like you can get them with identical configurations and they are about the same price. The G7 tends to run about $50 more.

Which one should I get?

From early sources, what I can tell you is, there is difference between the cooling system of both models. Need for wait for reviews to see what are the differences though. Nevertheless both models are fine.

Idk about the g5 but I just got the g7 and if you're willing to mess around with Intel xtu for a few minutes you can have it performing near a stock ryzen 5 1600x. The screen is alright and the keyboard and track pad are excellent. I've never felt a clickier trackpad and there is zero deck flex, like the entire deck is a solid chunk of aluminum. It does get a little hot at the top of the keyboard since it is aluminum and it conducts hear very well but it's not noticeable during gaming since you can only tell if you mash the f row of keys in. The speakers sound pretty good but the headphone jack is garbage. Idk if it's just mine but it sounds like what it would sound like if they took the dynamic range of the speakers and pumped it through your headphones. Oh wait. That's e actly what they did. Anywho I'd recommend a different sound card at least but the laptops still good overall.
