A used 780 ti if you can find one. A 1050 ti is worse in performance and costs more.

Try using the PSU Tier List!

I had no idea gpu's had become this expensive. You used to be able to get the x60 version for less than that when I was looking around that price range. It's crazy!

See my Build here!

Intel 6700k -  Strix GTX 1080Ti - Corsair AX760 - Corsair Dominator 16GB 3000MHz - ASUS Maximus VIII Hero

Seagate Barracuda 1TB -  Samsung 120GB 840 - Samsung 840 EVO 250GB - Corsair H100i - Corsair Air 540 White -

Corsair AF120 - 2x Noctua NF-F12 - 3 x Noctua NF-S12

 Dell S2417DG - Dell UH2515H

Most are 1.5x-2x more expensive.

I seem to have bought my 1080 before the prices went crazy. I bought it used for around £450 ($625). I haven't seen 1070 much cheaper than that since. Could probably flip my 1080 for a pretty substantial profit!

i had no idea either until i found out that even my 1050ti i bought for 150€ is now selling for over 200€.

a 1050ti is a great card but totally not worth 200 bucks IMO.

yeah, i know, mining, supply and demand, bla bla but even GT 1030 cards go up in price -  now what's the excuse for that ?

i am just shocked

Yeah, I bought mine for 530 on sale before the fluctuations occurred. I could double my profit if I wanted to go without a card for a month or two

I just don't understand why though, here in the UK just from energy prices mining Litecoin would lose me around 50p a day. That's not factoring in the reduced lifespan of the card either. You can get dedicated miners much cheaper that seem to be in abundance!

I was tempted, I may hold on until 11 series is announced and offload then as I bet the used market will still be silly for weeks after launch!

Yeah I have just been mining with mine in my spare time, I have about 150 dollars right now. I think I might just buy the next 80 card after I sell my current GPU and withdraw BTC

A GTX 970 if you're good at sniping auctions on ebay.

You can get one for less than 200, but it takes patience.

Just remember, if you go the 780ti route, it's a few generations old and not nearly as power efficient - be sure your power supply can drive it - and it doesn't support some of the newer doodads if memory serves, like Vulkan. Don't quote me on that though.
