Well Apple touched on that so those extreme cases are just going to have to tough it out and not leave their phones unattended if they dont want their twin going through them. 

 

But really the % of people that are identical twins is extremely small.

No reason to add more than one face. If other people need to use your phone use the damn passcode. There is only so much memory for the secure enclave to use.

I've managed to trick every Face Unlock feature with a picture. You just have to understand how to have proper depth. These systems are garbage.

Supposedly Apple's implementation is SIGNIFICANTLY more advanced than most of the other methods -- which are generally just: "here let me take a picture of you and if you have the right shaped head, you're good to go".

Yup. It all started with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich in the Samsung Galaxy Nexus in 2011. 

 But I wonder if you have managed to trick Windows Hello in the Surface line because even identical twins can’t.

No they cannot. 

 

If they can prove it. Interlaced photos don’t provide 3 dimential depth and active eyes. 

 

If a mask cant do it a photo isn’t going to either. Both lack key aspects of what makes FaceID work.

Because that’s in the terms of service and has been since it’s become law to make internet accounts on your own......

 

Being under 13 and not being able to make an Apple ID let alone be old enough to have an iPhone isn’t new and isn’t limited to the iPhone X.

I wonder if that’s possible since just like Touch ID, they do not use picture of a face or fingerprint matching but rather, Face ID converts the face picture into a bunch of mathematical expressions which is then encrypted and stored in the Secure Enclave coprocessor. I don’t think something planar as a selfie from a phone or a printed A4 selfie can unlock Face ID.

This is the #1 blaring reason “interlacing approximate photos” would extravagantly fail at unlocking FaceID. Reason #2 is because there is no eye movement.

Considering that a mask, realized by specialist from hollywood (if i recall the keynote correctly), didn't fooled FaceID, how in hell, could a fancy picture do it ?
