What is intelligence according to you?

Ezio Auditore

Learning quickly, mastering quickly, the ability to learn from errors quickly and not repeat them, and being able to apply what you know to real-life situations without any issues.

I'm applying this to both crystallized and liquid intelligence.

This sounds like "street smarts" and not "book smarts" to me

Critical thinking. Sure you can look at all sentient life and they are all intelligent in their own ways.

But rational and critical thought is something i value highly.

To be able to settle disputes and disagreements with reason and rational thought is a valuable thing.

Without it we get violent protest groups. Echo chamber groups and people that coast through life without forming their own opinions.

I may have worded this poorly because i'm dead tired. But you probably catch my meaning.

I don't think so. The smartest people I know academically pick up concepts, especially complex ones, way faster than everybody else. They have a deeper understanding and way faster.
