Need help on upgrading my current build.

What would be a cost effective way to upgrade my main computer to run modern games on ultra? I'm honestly struggling to figure this one out on what parts to save for etc etc.

Current build v

cpu: AMD - FX-6300 3.5GHz 6-Core Processor

cpu cooler: Cooler Master - Hyper 212 EVO

gpu: EVGA - GeForce GTX 750 2GB Superclocked

mobo: MSI - 970A-G43 ATX AM3+ Motherboard

ram: Corsair - Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory

psu: Thermaltake - TR2 600W ATX Power Supply

Possible full system upgrade, https://pcpartpicker.com/list/bFkNwV

*EDIT*

That's not an upgrade, that's a whole new system lol

I'd recommend Ryzen, specifically the R5 1600. better than the 7600K in everything.

Also, can you mark the parts you're carrying over from your old build as purchased in PCPP. makes it easy to see what to change and not to change when making a new parts list.

I would recommend Ryzen 1600 or 1600X instead of the i5-7600k. It will have similar performance in games, and because the 7600k doesn't have hyper-threading and has fewer cores, the Ryzen CPUs will be more effective in non-gaming applications. The GTX 1060 6GB should be good for modern titles if you are running at 1080p 60Hz.

and they perform identically in today's games

plus, Ryzen will take a lead in the games of tomorrow, with proper DX12 and Vulkan.

Depends on the program, but you shouldn't have any issues since you can lower settings that aren't needed like AA.

I think yes but for more performance go for GTX 1070, and check my recommended monitor Here

Ok, but remember you have to do something with V Sync while turning on G Sync
