help choosing a GPU

Lucifer02

At this point of time my PC has

an i7-4790 @3.60GHz

8GB DDR 3 RAM
1tb Segate HDD

a really shady powersuply (will be replaced)

no GPU (will upgrade to either a GTX 960 or GTX 950 or GTX1050 or GTX 760 (Whichever I am able to get for the best Price )

and a GIGABYTE H8TM-S2PH mother board

I put these into https://outervision.com/power-supply-calculator and they gave me these results( In the image)

Now since i live in UAE it's really hard for me to be able to buy reasonable price components therefore i am settling for second hand parts.

So from the second hand market i am able to find a few GPUs

1)ASUS NVIDIA GEFORCE GTX 760 DirectCU II OC 2GB (http://tnydu.biz/DUi9fA)

2)GTX 960 $123

3)GTX 950 $136 (http://tnydu.biz/DUibPO)

4)AVGA GeForce gtx 1050 2GB in box for $136 (http://tnydu.biz/DUi96t)

It would be great if anyone could help me choose from these 3 graphic cards or give me a better alternatives which will be compatible with my PC(with its new PSU)

P.S. I know the cable management is shitty i'll get onto doing it when i get my new PSU

Thank you so much for taking your time to read this hope you can help me out.

The 960 or the 1050 Ti. Just look up benchmarks for your favorite game and see which does better.

The 960 is faster and costs less than the 950, and 1050 performs the same as 960.

There's no thinking, get 1050 because it's the lastest generation and performs that same as 960

CPU: Ryzen 2 2700@ 4.0Ghz    Mobo: Gigabyte X470 Gaming 7 Wifi    Cooler: EVGA CLC 240    GPU: GTX1080 FTW DT @ 2113Mhz   PSU: EVGA 750W P2

GTX 960 is equal to the 1050 TI.

No, you have a very good CPU (better than mine.)  that should last you another 4-5 years.

so after buying the GPU how do i make sure everything is fine. Like are there any tells on the hardware i should look for that will tell me if it's damaged and is there any software which can also identify these problems?

Run Unigine superposition and make sure you get similar results as other GTX 1050 TI's.

Download HW monitor or MSI Afterburner and make sure your GPU doesn't raise above 80C while you run superposition.

Yes on both counts. That CPU performs almost dead even with Skylake so your good for a while.

The GTX 960 seems promising but what is the brand?

"Make it future proof for some years at least, don't buy "only slightly better" stuff that gets outdated 1 year, that's throwing money away" @pipoawas

-Frequencies DON'T represent everything and in many cases that is true (referring to Individual CPU Clocks).

Mention me if you want to summon me sooner or later

Spoiler

My head on 2019 :

Note 10, S10, Samsung becomes Apple, Zen 2, 3700X, Renegade X lol
