Hey everyone!

So I was kind of curious and did a test to see how fast my 4G LTE actually was with its download and upload speeds, with my HTC M8 smartphone from AT&T, compared to my home network which is also provided by AT&T but with UVerse Internet only.

The first test that I did and for which we are currently paying for, is 16GB Down and 2MB up.

Below are the interesting results...

Home Network WiFi (1 meter from my router)

post-56598-0-49954800-1410402593_thumb.p

AT&T 4G LTE (window sill)

post-56598-0-46783700-1410402574_thumb.p

What is interesting is that I'm nearly getting a whole MB more in upload than what my home network has to offer! And downside of that is my home network is roughly 8 times faster than my 4G during download speeds... Kinda shows the tower with the power (ha, get it? cause its, got... yea...)

What are your guys thoughts on this?  Share your speeds and how they contrast or compare to your cellular data vs. home networking data. :)

New Zealand fibre (UFB) i just got it installed a month ago. Still stuck with 150gb cap I might get unlimited.

Luckily in NZ they decided to make it a public utility, so its free to get installed and it starting to cover most of the main cities now.

I went from 16Mb/s down to this, so i cant complain.
