Parent Friendly Action games

Just want to see what games are out there, and maybe compile a list to help people out. I'm looking for any action/FPS games that are clean, as in no inappropriate content, blood and gore, etc. I'm always on the lookout for awesome games, but they are always bloody or inappropriate (IMO, blood doesn't add much to the game). This will also help me when I ask my Dad about getting some games (He shares the same views, though a bit more strongly). I don't really care what they are rated, as long as I can disable the stuff I don't like. I really like the story and graphics of Rise of the Tomb raider, for example, but it's pretty bloody. For reference, I even feel a weird buzz when I play NOVA 3 on iOS (Blood in games makes me feel weird, and then it's the usual tough military talk)

 

What I've got so far:

Rad Rogers: One World (Not sure about this, and they use a bit of language on their site, but it says you can disable blood and swearing)

Battlefront (All of 'em, from the originals to the EA redo)

Destiny (1 and most likely 2)

Halo (All of them)

Assasin's Creed 4 (disable blood)

Overwatch

Battlefield (Multiplayer has no blood, but an open voice chat)

Terraria

Minecraft

Lego Worlds
Stardew Valley,

Ori and the blind forest,

Portal 1/2

Mirror's Edge 1 / Catalyst

Need for Speed (any)

Forza (all of them)

Dirt 

Gran Turismo (All of 'em)

Life is Strange - It can get dark and impacting but it is no free violence nor gory.

Splatoon, super smash bros, every Zelda game I think, paper Mario 64, the thousand year door (Nintendo Games)

And can you do the same for Battlefield (I understand if you use a headset, you need to stick with peeps you know to avoid language)?

You usually can. There aren't usually blood pools when you kill enemies aside from a comical woosh(?) when you get them in the head.

Multiplayer has no blood. Otherwise, you'd run at 1Hz after a few minutes.

don't play cod, it's one of those unnecessary blood games.

GTA V - Play it for the awesome driving mechanics

Racing games - any Need for Speed, Forza, Dirt etc.

You can disable gore in gears of war 4 and mortal Kombat xl.

Gore and blood is a DLC in Total War games. 

 

Capitalism to the rescue.

I would say Dota 2 is parent friendly enough. Blood is kept in check and there's a little inappropriate language ("thanks for standing still, wanker!"). Otherwise the most hardcore part about the game is that if you start doing badly you can't leave, I think that's the main reason why League and Dota communities are famous for grumpy people in them.
