How do I achieve this coolant color?

Im trying to start a new custom liquid cooled build and have my mind set on a certain color but dont know how to get it done. Im going for a sort of light clear blue-ish like blue listerine. is there any coolant i can buy that looks like that, if not how can i make it with dye?

Your probably going to have to experiment with dyes, Mayhems makes some really good ones. My suggestion may be something like this, with a little bit of green.

EDIT: Ah sniped me!

I would do it with a large bottle to mix and test the colors with some distilled water since it's cheap and if it doesn't turn out right you can just dump it and try again.

Get a large amount of clear coolant and fill a 2 litre or so container, then start adding dye. Best not to dye when it's in the loop as if you get the colour wrong you have to drain the whole thing to start again. You can make a big batch of it first then you have some spare when you need to replace the coolant or top up the system.

get clear coolant and then some green and blue dye and experiment, make sure to put some in a bit of your tube to check the color so its right :)

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

I don't know much about water cooling so do more research before trying this, but it occurs to me that if that's the desired color using Listerine itself for at least part of the coolant might not be totally stupid.  It's basically a solution of alcohol and water and would help keep funkies from growing in the system...
