Which mechnical keyboard?

ViGeesT

Hello. I'm newly registered. My names Tom. And i need help! I need to pick a mechanical keyboard, its going to be my first one. I'm thinking about Razer Blackwidow Ultimate 2013, Ducky Shine 3, Corsair K70 (I heard about a led problem which is pretty much common is it true?) Or can you recommend any others?

Here are requirements:

- Green or Red Backlight.

- Cherry MX Blue , Brown or Red but not Black.

- Long lasting w/ warranty. (Optional).

- Full size keyboard.

-Budget 140$

Maybe look at a Cooler Master CM Storm Trigger? Red backlighting with brown switches; the one I used for a bit, I found myself to like quite a bit.

I have the Black Widow 2013 Ultimate, and I must say i like it a lot, and if the backlight means a lot too you then it's an excellent choice since the backlight is very powerful, but it can of course be adjusted in brightness. Keep in mind though that it uses blue switches and they are very loud.

There's the QPad MK-85 for about 120$ (not sure what price you might get in lithuania) Red backlight full size Cherry mx red keyboard.

If you don't like the look of the qpad i kinda want to suggest the razer black widow ultimate. If it's anything like my 2011 edition it's gonna serve you well :)

So... Theres 3 Ducky recommendations, 3 BWU 2013 recommendations, 1 Corsair K70 recommendation, 1 CM Storm Trigger recommendations. I'm pretty sure it's gonna be BWU or Ducky. Either of them.

Edit: One more Ducky recommendation and im buyin it. But the question remains. Does mechanicalkeyboards.com ship around the world? (I'm from Lithuania so it needs to get shipped there.)

I had a BWU 2013. Got A Ducky Shines 3 Cherry MX Blues green backlight. It is leaps and bounds better than the BWU 2013.

the construction of the Ducky Shines 3 is 10 times better than the quality and feel of the BWU 2013.

They also offer a Tenkeyless version of the DS3.

Go with The Ducky. you will not be disappointed.

Blackwidow, 'nuff said.

Nope, disagree with that.....definitely NOT 'nuff said! :P People who have owned a BWU XXXX have been known to jump on a Ducky Shine 2 or 3 keyboard, but I've NOT heard of anyone ditching a Ducky Shine 2 or 3 in favor of a BWU XXXX.....

Check out Ducky Shine 3.....now, that's 'nuff said!!! :D

Ducky Shine 3 hands down,  the Razer Blackwidow is a waste of money when a Shine 3 can be had.  Also mechanicalkeyboards only carry ANSI Shine 3s, for ISO Shine 3s Teraset.net carrys them and ships to Lithuania.

The Ducky Shine 3 is amazing, I have absolutely no regrets in buying it. It's an excellent keyboard and I'd take it out of all those choices.

Sorry for double post

ANSI refers to the way the keys are laid out on the keyboard, the US and here in Asia, we use ANSI layout. ISO layout is what is generally used in Europe I believe. Easier way to spot the difference is to look at the 'Enter' key, with ANSI, it's just an elongated key.....with ISO, it's 'L' shaped. Here's a link to Wikimedia on the difference between ANSI and ISO...

BTW, smart move going with a DS3! ;)
