Value/ Midrange Build

Just put together a complete system, with the aim of not only using the 2100$ budget to build a complete system, with monitors, peripherals & OS etc. included, but also aiming for quality components by trusted manufacturers. Any Ideas for improvements or better parts??

EDIT: Left out the monitor, because at this point I am not exactly sure which one to get. I have settled on 1080p, because I do not care about 4k and all that jazz. If you guys have any experience with good monitors or certain models that you feel were a great buy, feel free to link them, I would love to check them out. :)

wait for ryzen  benchmarks, i feel like that's going to help with your build.

You are absolutely right, I am being impatient. I intend to wait anyway for now, so maybe watching out for how independent testers will rate and benchmark ryzen might be worth a look.

Do you really need the DVD player? If not and you don't want to wait for Ryzen, then the below would work great, with a much cheaper monitor that is not much different (Dell actually has higher QC standards). If you do need the DVD player, just swap out the case and add the player back in. I swapped the RAM for a kit that is $30 cheaper but will perform nearly identically and the HDD to a 2nd gen barracuda due to reliability issuess with the 1st gen one that you had selected for less than $1 more. Added a 7700K for obvious reasons, and a 1080 again for obvious reasons, and the build is still on budget.
