Is Ting a good carrier?

I was looking into switching to Ting for my cell service provider. Does anyone here personally use them? If so, would you recommend switching?

I use Ting in Philly and they're good. However, my contract gig took me down to Houston for a year and Ting is a bit spotty there.

Service is great if they actually service your area. They use T-Mobile's networks so that's a good way to check.

I was thinking the same thing. I was thinking about getting a 2017 Nokia 3310, and my current provider is Verizon. The 3310 only supports 3G, and Verizon doesn't. Does anyone know if Ting will work with that? If so, can I use this starter kit?

 

Also, I live in Chicago. Does anyone know if Ting has good coverage in Chicago?
