Hi everyone,

I am trying to upgrade my fans in my pc at the moment as the fans that I have are quite loud and I cannot ammend the speed without doing power changes. Could you please reccomend some fans to me run with. My case is the 540 air by corsair, I have a h100i v2 in there and was thinking of getting 120mm noctua industrial 3000 rpm pwm fans for the h100i and replace my corasir af 120 LED's with industrial 140mm 2000rpm pwm  for all my case fans for airflow. I am looking for high performance if needed while being as quite as possible most of the time until I need the cooling to be better when running benchmarks and overclocking harder than normal. any advise would be amazing.

you should be able to set fan speed

unfortunately the ones I have are not pwm capable and I am running my fans through the mobo.

go into you bios and even if they aren't pwm you can control them.

Noctua fans are really awesome I use them in my server, they are very quiet. Recently in my main system I put in the Corsair ML series fans because they're LED and both air and static pressure optimized, they are also very quiet. I noticed a difference in thermals as well over my previous setup. As much as I love Noctua fans they look so ugly. But one negative about Noctua fans and Corsairs ML fans is you pay a premium.

thanks both of you. JM I am thinking of getting the red accents on the noctuas just to match the ram I have but for me I don't really mind the look of the noctua and if I am going to buy fans with LED I would like them to be RGB just so I can change them to match anything down the line that I have. But I might by the black accents for the noctuas instead just so they match whatever I put in.

Yeah, you can get the black Noctua fans and buy the rubber corner pieces in whichever colour you'd want them in. I don't know if there is many colour options but I know they have red. Corsair does have RGB fans too nut I think only in the SP series.

There isnt alot of options but they do both red and black tips so might just buy the black ones so they blend with the case. As for corsair I like the idea of RGB fans but would like to have a mixture of AF and SP fans even if it means buying one set of AF and one set of SP's like my idea with the noctuas. My other issue is that corsair have alot of fans that arent pwm which means link doesnt seem to do anything with them. Which is annoying as I use it for the h100i and the ram I have.

Yeah and that's why I got the ML fans its the best of both worlds as far as air pressure goes, and they are PWM controlled. But they don't come in RGB yet I believe.
