The Recent Adobe Hack reveals 123456 as password

It turns out that there were 1.9 million people who stupidly used the password 123456. At this rate I don't even think anyone needs to hack into companies to gain access to others accounts but to just use the password 123456 instead as more then likely you will gain access.

I usually make my password "incorrect" so that when I fail the first time the programs I use remind me what my password is.

in all honesty those with these passwords are the ones with the less confidential stuff for example regular staff. quite a few computers I have to deal with daily have the pass 123456 so that the technologically impaired can remember the stupidly easy password. And it is usually set up this way by the person who has all the confidential information who has fairly strong passwords for everything.

I acutally have a decently unique password, but it's nothing too complex so it's still one word long and as short as possible...

Most cracking programs just use brute force. So 123456789101112131415 is more secure than any 14 character password

All my passwords are sentences compressed into the first letter of each word with interchanging capitals. Most are like 12-16 characters long, but they sure as hell aren't in any hackers password database.
