Skyrim mod suggestions.

I'm a little bored right now so i re-downloaded Skyrim+High resolution texture pack and plan to play through the entire game again, i don't want to go too nuts on the mods but could anyone suggest maybe their top 1 or 2 mods? (with graphics in mind) 

 

I considered buying the new version but it didnt seem to be worth $40 USD when i already have the original, thank you in advance.

If you had Skyrim on steam you should get the remastered version for free. Atleast, me and my friends did.

 

As for mods, SkyUI + Lockpick pro are handy for second play throughs.

Note: SKSE is required for all mods mentioned below, except for the visual and audio mods. SKSE WILL NOT work with the remaster, and there's no ETA on when there will be a version of SKSE for it.

 

Goes without saying that SkyUI is essentially required, unless you like the awful stock UI.

 

For visual mods, 2K textures pack comes highly recommended, with CoT+ELFX for lighting and weather. Parallax and SMIM for mesh improvements. Skyrim Flora Overhaul, Audio Overhaul, and Distant LOD replacer packs for environments.

 

As far as ENBs go, Vividian, Realvision, or Tetrachromatic are nice. When dealing with an ENB, you must make sure all game overlays are fully disabled, and pay particular attention to instructions on the mod pages. Install anything that is required, otherwise whatever ENB preset you install will look very odd. 

 

For combat, ASIS or Combat Evolved (might be broken now) are great picks. Deadly Dragons rounds this out well. Deadly Combat was a great mod, but it's notorious for script bloat.

 

If you want to go with an overhaul mod, go with Ordinator for a perk-only overhaul or Requiem for a full game overhaul (makes it much more difficult, requires patching with a Java patcher, must consider compatibility with other mods too). Frostfall is strongly recommended as well, accompanied with iNeed if you want survival mechanics. 

 

If you want to try something new, Enderal is recommended. Total conversion, very well made too.
