Programs still take multitudes longer to load. As do games.

Never again will I allow spinning storage in one of my PCs :P

not even for mass storage?  I have my OS and games on my SSD, but i have a 2TB hdd for movies and music and what not.

There is no world where 10fps can be called "comfortable".  The commonly accepted "minimum" frame-rate to be considered playable is 30fps.  Frankly, I wouldn't personally play anything less than 60fps in single player and 120fps in multi-player.  10fps is like playing a flip-book or watching stop-motion.

I have a 2TB external drive. Soon to be swapped out for 2 4TB drives. But nothing in the PC, it'll always be attached storage.
