Build 2.0

A slightly higher than mid range build is what I'd say.

On a serious note do you need the 32 gb of RAM?

EDIT: While I can understand the 1000w PSU, I think an 850w would suffice, but it's your call and it seems as though money isn't an issue here.

Nice build, If i would buy it i'd change a few things such as:

NZXT Kraken X52 if you care about looks and Silent build

ASUS Maximus VIII Hero LGA 1151 Mobo

Coolermaster mastercase maker 5 since it gives great adjustability

verry overkill PSU, go for around 700W instead

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

This is a good build for what your needs are but since you say you are going to do video editing I'm assuming also video rendering? If so i would look into a i7 6800k. Also a 1000w psu is a bit overkill if you want to have that upgrade ability for the future a 800w psu is more than enough and still giving plenty of spare wattage for the future.
