(Help )Hyper 212 evo's for $3.23 shipped from Amazon Link inside (did I mess up?)

Purp_Skurp

Like the title said the link is below.  My question is did I mess up?  I just bought 30 of these on a whim hoping to sell them on Ebay but im having second thoughts seeing as how the seller just opened this account.  What is Amazons policy on scams?  Is it possible to scam on Amazon?  Do I need to cancel my order (if so I need to do that quick its been about 15 minutes)?  What do you guys think.  Great deal or scam and i may not see my cash again?

I have good experiences with amazon. Ussually there policy is usually the customer is always right. So if they shipped you something used or damaged or something you can file a claim

Amazon will probably cover you but worst case scenario it's not that much money. I would just see how it goes

Ok so I have nothing really to worry about.  Other than $100 being tied up for a month or two possibly its safe to say that they will either arrive and be what they are supposed to be...or they wont arrive and I can file a claim and get my money back.

Thats what im thinking is its just $100 but if I found $100 laying on the ground I wouldnt leave it there thinking "oh its just $100 I dont need that".  Im just getting cold feet after the fact because I ordered not wanting to spend 10 minutes doing research and miss out on stock.  So yall think I should leave the order placed?

Have any of you heard of any Amazon scams?  And if this is a scam is it a scam on me or a scam on Amazon?  Like if they dont show I file a claim with Amazon and they pay me.  Then Amazon deals with the store right?

Yall do not make me feel any better about this lol.  Seemed a bit too good to be true but.....People have been known to make typos before.  Forget a zero by accident.  I wrote an email saying I wanted to cancel my order, I suppose If I dont get anything back in return then its a scam.  Either way.  I was under the impression that Amazon had control of things like this and anyone who wanted to sell on Amazon had to be verified or something.

I have a question...Lets say this is a scam.  Should I be worried that these people have my credit card info?  The payment definitely went through Amazon because it suggested a card I dont even have active anymore from years ago.  But should I transfer all my funds from the card I used so my account dosent get wiped?  Does Amazon even give my card info directly to the seller or is it charged through Amazon?

Ok just talked to Amazon customer service and she is assuring me that everything looks to be good and that if anything at all happens then Amazon is covering it. I have screen shots of the sellers page, my invoices, as well as emails from Amazon. And in Amazons system it shows I called customer support to inquire about a possible fraudulent seller. I voiced my concerns with customer service and she is assuring me that everything looks ok and not to worry. Said my money isnt lost and if worse comes to worse than I am fully covered. She also sent me an email showing that I spoke with her. As well as annotations in my "amazon account history" that they have, that voice my concerns. Also told me that all their phone calls are recorded and monitored.

I think I am covered as much as I can be here. So now all I can do is wait.

Another point to note, if a seller requests that you use another service instead of Amazon to sent money through, it's definitely a scam. Do not send money directly through Paypal or any other money service. Go through Amazon.

Adults are just kids with bigger wallets.

It was paid through Amazon.  I know 100% it was legit.  They had one of my cards that was expired years ago still on file.  I also spoke with Amazon customer service about my payment and it was through them so its covered.

I believe their official policy is (to paraphrase) "you should feel comfortable shopping and buying anything on amazon without worrying about scammers.  If there's a problem, we'll help you deal with it.  Buyer beware is not how we run things here"

Solve your own audio issues  |  First Steps with RPi 3  |  Humidity & Condensation  |  Sleep & Hibernation  |  Overclocking RAM  |  Making Backups  |  Displays  |  4K / 8K / 16K / etc.  |  Do I need 80+ Platinum?

If you can read this you're using the wrong theme.  You can change it at the bottom.
