that just reminded me

what happened to that company that said it will add NANDs to a ram stick so it can be used as an SSD with all the advantages of  the memory controller has ie random access latency etc

but isn't it the same as the software that comes with ROG boards that lets you use your system ram as storage? Ramdisk?

Oh, I thought they just wanted you to somehow have like 500GB of RAM. That makes a lot more sense. Isn't that basically just prefetching? That IIRC caused the STALKER series to have a lot of instabilities.
