But I like this kind

Is there a special keyword I can search for on amazon to find this style of ear buds but not have to pay $18 every time I "misplace" them

It actually hurts without them because of their design

Headphones = over ear / on ear
Headsets = over ear / on ear + mic
Earbuds = shove them up your ear canal
Earphones = this is what i know the older style used to be called

They need a padding or else it's like sticking a cotton swab into your ear canal. Only ones I have like that are the ones that came with my HTC M7. Got 3 different earbud types, JVC Gumy, Panasonic, and Sony. All of them cost around $10 bucks or so. JVC and Panasonic broke, Now I'm using the Sony one.  Out of the 3, imo JVC sounds the best.

Apple earpods are not too bad if you like those kinds of earphones - not really commonly made anymore

if you dont like silicone tips (i dunno why?) try some comply foam tips

My best bet is "earbud -inear -in ear" or something like that, depending how the search works.

Solve your own audio issues  |  First Steps with RPi 3  |  Humidity & Condensation  |  Sleep & Hibernation  |  Overclocking RAM  |  Making Backups  |  Displays  |  4K / 8K / 16K / etc.  |  Do I need 80+ Platinum?

If you can read this you're using the wrong theme.  You can change it at the bottom.
