Framerate sanity check

Please answer ASAP. If I have a animation im making at 30 fps and it needs to last 30 seconds how many frames do I need? Wouldn't it be 900?

What are you using to render? Might be able to save some of the rendered frames.

Not too detailed then?

When i render you want to save every frame... 4k + lots of details and effects = looong render times.

How did you go from wanting to render a video at 30 frames to rendering it at 120? Lol. Did you use a default preset or something? This is actually kinda amusing, sorry for laughing at your pain. Also just curious, when it comes to animation how long does it take to render a 30 second animation at 120 frames?

it depends on what you're rendering and whats your hardware as well as if the software benefits from stronger hardware etc etc

Im at 530 frames of 1000 currently. It has been going for 10 hours.
