Small suggestion for the tech news forum

Small idea that just popped into my head: Append a [News] prefix to articles/topics posted in the Tech News and Reviews forum. Why? Those that subscribe to the forum (and alot of others here as well) could more easily filter the emails (to read later), instead of getting dozens or hundreds of emails from all over the site (is this a good setup, Help!!!!!, etc).

It could be forum wide also where email has subforum name in front of title. Or after it. Gmail can do filters by text string in title.

If you're not interested in emails about the other subforums, it might be a better idea to follow them with only inline notifications, or not at all, so that you don't get emails about them. You might find that a custom activity stream might be a better way to access the threads that you're interested in, rather than relying on email notifications. If you do insist on getting emails, what type of emails are you using? One email per content item, or daily digests?
