[FINISHED!] [Thanks for 5k!] A budget build with custom cable management: Project [BBB], The Badass Bargain Build!

Alright, it's still in consideration thanks for the replay. For windows 8 I would have to do an illegal download and I was just getting to use those less and less often :P And for others, i value a reply more than a vote! So if you have any reason for your choice let me know and enlighten me with your knowledge :)

If u like windows 8....

just type the words windows 8 , and 7pmtech in Google. Thats all Im allowed to say.

Folding for LTT since April 2016.

Massive thanks for over a 1000 views and a 100 votes!

It's weekend, so it's time for another update!

I only got to do most of the work this morning as I had my day of birth yesterday ;)

First off I started gluing the boxes together:

post-38040-0-98164400-1379247919_thumb.j

The result of this turned out nice:

post-38040-0-70542000-1379247890_thumb.j

But ofcourse I didnt make the sides a 100% straight with the sanding:

post-38040-0-10290600-1379247906_thumb.j

But after working some magic with putty It's all nice and filled up:

post-38040-0-43169200-1379247930_thumb.j

Now it was time to finally test fit the boxes in the case:

post-38040-0-92330500-1379248046_thumb.j

Next up I made some measurements and decided were i needed holes in the tubing:

post-38040-0-54157000-1379248062_thumb.j

post-38040-0-45810700-1379248078_thumb.j

post-38040-0-63589500-1379248097_thumb.j

I also cut and bend the two other tubes and test fitted them:

post-38040-0-90547100-1379248111_thumb.j

post-38040-0-63533500-1379248124_thumb.j

And finally I did one of the last painting jobs for this build:

post-38040-0-50402100-1379248157_thumb.j

I hope you guys are as happy as I am with how this is turning out. The next update (possibly even the last ;)) will be at least by the next weekend, as always! And as always, feel free to leave suggestions and questions in a reply!

The cable management boxes, and the tubing are definitely an interesting idea, and they look pretty awesome.

I've got some awesome news for you guys... I got home early from uni today and I basically finished the build. All i have left to do is make a nice "photoshoot" in daylight (daylight is the best light :3) and then install drivers and stuff.

Right now I do have all the pictures from what I've done today, but they might give away the final look too much before I make some proper pictures. I'll give you guys a sneak peek though ;)

post-38040-0-47218200-1379353307_thumb.j

Just hang on and tommorrow will be the final update, unless i decide to change stuff ;)

And as always feel free to leave comments and suggestions in a reply down below!

Alright people I just got back from university and did the outside "photoshoot" for project [bBB] with an actual camera. Can't post those pics yet cause I first need to (literary) dust off my drum kit and start playing again, look in what state my poor baby is now :'(

post-38040-0-91822000-1379429613_thumb.j

After I finish rockin' it out I'll get back to project [bBB] ;) All I have left to do is do some driver and software installs and place the rig where my mother desires it to be.

Any benchmarks/software you wanna see this cheap build run?

I'll back to you guys in a bit!

Hello again,

I will sadly only be able to post the pictures by Saturday due to private reasons and university.

Its really annoying to have already completed this build and taken all the pictures, but to not be able to actually finish the build log...

Anyway, hang on guys the pictures will come soon :)
