Hey.  My dad is a big workstation user and his pc is getting older.  I would love to give this to him as a Christmas gift if I win.

Hello Guys,

 

Thanks for the giveaway, perfect timing. I'm thinking of finally building my first rig and i could't decide between AMD and Intel. If I get this it'll be helping me out a lot. I'm studying to be a Mechanical Engineer and i'll be taking CAD classes soon. Happy holidays to everyone.

It would be a great opportunity for me to finally get me a desktop up and running.

 

I have been on a tight budget since graduating from college. It would help to with my job while I am at home.

 

Gaming wise this would be one of my life's top moments that is for sure. I am also glad to discover this site I love your videos

keep up the good work guys.

This would become a part of a great machine for gaming and rendering!!

 

Old machine would go in the basement and become a decent plex server.

I'd make myself an earlier than expected upgrade with a 5820k.  Otherwise, I'll just wait for Skylake and retire the Ivy Bridge then.

YAY this give away looks great and I would love this processor for my first build and I would save a lot of money that I could put into a after market cooler more ram and more SSD space, If I won this I would donate money to the new office. Thank you for great give away's like this.

Oooooo - that looks nice! I would probably use it to get into 3D animation/design (always wanted to do it!) and for a bit of video editing and of course, who could resist, a bit of gaming

I am on the good end of my Rig and it really could use an upgrade soon, the whole package,
ut now with all the Christmas presents, upgrading seems more like maby a summer thing, but a late Christmas present would make upgrading a reality.

Over budget on my planned Christmas gaming build so I am in desperate need of anything I can get my mitts on and a 5820k is so much better than I could hope for on my budget.

I just built an i5 4690k/gtx 970 combo. But come on, no comparison to a 5820k. Pretty awesome how often you guys give back to the community. One of the first things I do is check your channel when I wake up just to see what kind of stuff you guys uploaded the night before. Sometimes I catch them at night but its often around 4am my time by the time the new stuff is up. My favorite tech channel by a long shot. Probably my favorite altogether.

I would use it for a variety of things. Gaming, 3d rendering, just whatever catches my attention from day to day. Redtu.. I mean YouTube.. uh yeah.. a lot of nonporn related things.. ahem..

I would use the 5820K to finally get the frames rates I have always wanted while playing Minesweeper (Its a pretty demanding game).

Finally throw away my crappy hp pavilion dv6 and build a decent gaming/streaming machine. (Already planning on doing this but with this CPU I would be able to invest in x99 instead of something cheaper).

Hi ! I'm a graphic designer from Brazil, and I'm starting to work with video editing. This 5820k would be awesome for that (I have an old I5 2500). Because of brazilian taxes, a 5820k costs about US$ 700,00, it's crazy ! If I have one of those, I could allocate my budget to buy an x99 motherboard and ddr4 memory.
