Dang, hope it survives the plunge man.

I pulled it out real quick, and it was off, to me it looks like only the outside got wet and it didnt have time for water to enter.

The lens is wet though.

 

I put it by a fan and I will try turning it on tomorrow. Hopefully this "non-conductive" fluid is really non conductive! :D

 

 

On another note, the loop is filled and ready to be installed this weekend :)

Yeah I just need to finish recording the video, install it in my PC and post pics :)

UPDATE!

 

The start of my "custom" watercooling loop using the Fractal Design Kelvin S24.

 

This product is not available in North America due to patent issues, so Fractal Design is not selling it here. Luckily I wave relatives in Europe, so I ordered the S24 through amazon to them, and they shipped it to me by mail. Overall it took over two months and over $200, but it is the best "customiseable" AiO on the market.

 

Here are some images of it. Performance and mods are coming later, this is just to show the product :)

Looks great man. You build convinced me to ditching the Fractal r4 for the s340. Also used the same foam for the sound dampening.

Final thoughts:

 

The second piece of tubing is a bit too long, I will have to cut it shorter next time I take the loop out.

 

The pump is louder than I thought, louder than my H100i was. It is about as loud as a 25db fan (and it says 25db on the Kelvin website) which is fine for most people, but bothersome in my ultra-quiet PC. Not sure If I will keep it or try to mod my H100i into the loop...

 

The radiator I used is the stock 240mm (30mm thick) one that comes with the S24. I currently can't afford the $150 for the Alphacool Nexxxos Monsta 280mm (86mm thick) radiator, but that will be a future upgrade. :)

The last pic is my favourite. The shroud helps blend the motherboard into the background. IMO it would look weird if it was covered in solder points reflecting light like a sky full of stars...

The last pic is my favourite. The shroud helps blend the motherboard into the background. IMO it would look weird if it was covered in solder points reflecting light like a sky full of stars...

The one that has made me keep this motherboard for 5 years.

The one that no other motherboard has. (the other sabertooth boards use a 35mm fan, this is a 50mm fan. Fractal Design does not make white 35mm fans.)

Its a rainmeter skin

download rainmeter, install this

http://apiium.deviantart.com/art/Honeycomb-467211707

then you follow the instructions to link the programs and you can delete the desktop icons

:)
