Display Port to Mini DP?

Are there adapter of Display Port to Mini? Some time in the next year I may buy the Asus PB278Q. If not I guess I use the HDMI cable that comes with the monitor.

 

My Motherboard, GPU & the monitor:

Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-Z77X-UD5H-WB ATX  LGA1155 Motherboard

Video Card: PowerColor Radeon HD 7970 3GB Video Card  ($358.86 @ NCIX US)
Monitor: Asus PB278Q 27.0" Monitor  ($607.58 @ Newegg)

TY, could someone with the monitor say how long the cables are? 1.8 - 3 meters?
