Underclocking RAM?

Go to solution Solved by Wats,

disable XMP, confirm ram settings with CPU-Z and run four instances of HCIMemTest at 250MB or so until %10,000 coverage.

Or 32 rounds of HyperPi 32M test, take ya all day. but its as good.

oh, and yes you should be able to run 1.65v ram with that cpu. really, you can go about as high as you want, like ~1.75v. fear, tho.

I Bought the kingston beast 8GB 2400Mhz CL11 ram and after searching for awhile i found that my CPU (I5 4670K) has a max of 1.55V for rams and this ram is 1.65V

is this a problem? If it is then how can i underclock my RAM Voltage?

may you say how?

Tweak in the BIOS. Or you can do it in something like EasyTune on Gigabytes boards or Ai Suite on ASUS boards.
