RATE THE PC SPECS ABOVE YOU :)

thetechdude

9.5/10

Close to my dream build. But I cant really give any build a perfect 10.

Would rate yours like a 6/10! just because the cpu is 4 gens behind now since haswell but doesn't mean it wont get the job done!

System Specs: AMD FX-8350, Coolermaster Hyper TX3 cooler, 8 GBs of Corsair Vengeance Blue 1600 ram, Gigabyte 990FXA-UD3 motherboard, ASUS Xonar DGX sounds card, ASUS wireless card, Corsair GS700 power supply, NZXT Hue, NZXT Phantom 630 black, and an ASUS Matrix 580 gpu.

3/10

Dated, and not really keen on the graphics :P

Agreed lol... It's pretty terrible. I just did a run of the Catzilla benchmark on 576p (the only free one) and got a score of 303, which is just awful lol. For a large majority of the bench I was getting 1 FPS.

In my opinion Overkill is underrated :)

I would agree with that for everything... except power supplies :P

Efficiency majorly drops off with a low % power draw.

Doesn't change the fact that the ax 1200i is a monster though :D

I'll give you a 8/10. Stock cooler and the rather poor hard drive configuration.

These are the specs for my laptop. The only system I currently use.

CPU: AMD A8-3530MX APU @ 1.9GHz

GPU: AMD Radeon HD6620G 512mb

RAM: 8GB DDR3 @ 1333MHz (can be upgraded to 16GB)

HDD: 750GB SATA-II from Seagate (can be upgraded to SSD)

DVD: SuperMulti Drive. Does pretty much every standard disk format apart from BluRay and those HD ones that we don't talk about anymore

SCREEN: 1366x768@60Hz

Runs Windows 7 Home Premium although I do plan to switch to Ubuntu or Arch Linux on this beast of a laptop one day. To help the person rating mine I spent £400 on the laptop which is like $600.

I have a reason for not getting a better cooler, H100i is out of stock. The hard drives aren't as important since Steam is on a 1tb :P But I will replace most of them later.

Why not a 256GB SSD for boot and then a 2TB HDD for everything else.

I don't really need an SSD of that size and I don't need the extra speed since I rarely turn my pc off. And ATM 1Tb for my steam drive is fine.
