My monitor is very shitty and TN,but I'm trying this.(Here's some lines from a review : This panel suffers from an extreme blue dominance except in white which is very pinkish.  The gamma is also very poorly managed.For color rendering it gave by far the worst measurements we’ve seen this year.  Grays are very mediocre and whatever the monitor you are currently using. As for white, it isn’t reproduced but rather is actually a pink (5300 K for experts!).

Tested on EIZO Foris FS 2333. I must say that I was falling asleep as I was doing this and I seen my screen wave. I am quite suprised that I managed to get perfect score.

That was kind of hard on my eyes. The white lines around the color bars started getting zigzaggy after a while.

24 on a TV lol and this TV is particularly bad... Going to retake on my IPS will throw in an edit.

First result had me kind of worried, monitor is a PA279Q, the TV I'm not sure of but it was the cheapest 40" Samsung I could find :lol: (Pretty sure it's a TN).

I knew I was colorblind, so this was no surprise. I'm 20, tested it on a TN panel and had similar results on my TV.

I scored 66 with an IPS monitor. I've known I'm colour blind (red-green) for quite a while now, but it's interesting to see this in action. I'm guessing the final image is supposed to show a smooth colour gradient, however for me there are definite bands of darker shades.

The bands have sligth variation in brightness, so even the correct solution doesn't look completely smooth, there are a couple of darker and brighter bands :)

 

Just for fun, I tried this test again today to see if I just had fluke yesterday, but I still got perfect score ^^

I did the test, went away for few hours, lost the stats... Too lazy to do it again, but it was almost exactly like this one bellow this text:

The color discrimination was really similar for me, my score was the same as this, same age range... Also a TN panel which is at least 5 years old.

Never trust my advice. Only take any and all advice from me with a grain of salt. Just a heads up.

I may have just retaken this and had my score jump from 66 to 155 so it looks like there's quite a bit of variance here (yes, I am colour blind, and using the same IPS display). I'm just saying to take these results with a pinch of salt - this is far from the best way to see how good your colour vision is (although many people have ended up with perfect scores - I guess it's more qualitative than quantitative...).
