[ISSUE] When clicking on the "Go to first new post" Prompt in a PM, error screen shows

Browser, version and OS: Firefox 80.0.1 (64-bit). Windows Build 2004

 

Steps to reproduce/what were you doing before it happened?

1) Be in a very active PM with people who shall go unnamed

2) Because it's very active, get enough replies that they fill up a page

3) Then the prompt of "X new replies / show replies / go to first new post" shows

4) Click "Go to first new post"

 

What happened?

A picture is worth a thousand bytes. Maybe more.

 

What did you expect to happen?

It should redirect to the first new post (which if I understand correctly means stay in this page and show the posts in this page).

If it's a cloudflare error, what was the ray ID from the bottom of the error page?

For what? The forum software is Invision Community (aka IPS), and pretty much everything on the back end is custom by them so there's no OSS framework that it's based on. In the front end again they have a custom framework but it's backed by jQuery.

Ah gotcha. I wasn't sure how much actual coding was put into devving the forums hehe

We have a fair amount of stuff built on top of IPS, but most of the backend code for most of the features has remained pretty close to stock IPS.
