I am in the process of backing up everything from a xps laptop I own and the hard drive is really loud for some reason. It could be because of the age of the drive and other factors, but I took good care of this laptop. I never scratched it or dropped it. I want to check the hard drive health but I am not sure if there is a tool to do so. If there is a tool designed for checking the health of a hard drive, please link one.
