5700 Xt is comparable to rtx 2070 super.

and since you have good cpu you can always record with that and not with the gpu. And 5700 XT's encoder isnt far from 2060 super's-. i would go for the faster card= 5700 XT

5700XT probably has a better encoder than the Vega series so even that is fine. (still I am voting against the ASUS model)

only advice I'll give is don't pick parts based on a poll , pick based on what you need and want.

If I picked a car based oh a poll I wouldn't have got the awesome car I have today and i'd be stuck with a ford focus or some crap

an amd card should be more than enough. for vm's if you want solid performance, you will need a second gpu that you can pass over. if you dont want a second card, get a card with more memory

Either a 5700xt or 2070 (performance is pretty close from the reviews I just skimmed), get that 2060 TF outta there. As for which 5700xt/2070, the performance after OCing will be pretty similar to other brand offerings. Don't get a blower card, and consider reviews for fan noise and such if you're having a hard time choosing

what is the cpu that you chose?

what games will you be playing?

what is the resolution and refresh rate or your monitor?

what is the quality you want to play them?

if you're going intel:

9th gen:(i5 9600k, i7 9700k, i9 9900k and anything in between)

z390 motherboards if youre going for K veriant cause it supports overclock

basically that is the most important variant right now, cause we do have now intel's 10th gen and going back to 9th gen is not really worth it...

10th gen:i5 10600k, i7 10700k, i9 10900k and anything in between(not X series))

z490 motherboards - top end chip set if youre going for K veriant cause it supports overclock

h470 motherboards - mid range ground not compatible with overclocking

b460 motherboards - mid range ground not compatible with overclocking

h410 motherboards - the lowest end motherboards not really recommended since you're using your pc for editing and im sure you wont go for an i5 10400 or something like that.

 

if you're going AMD: !RECOMMENDED!

3000 series AM4 socket:(3600/x/xt, 3700/x/xt, 3800/x/xt, 3900/x/xt)

x570 motherboards - top end and good motherboards if you're overclocking

x470 motherboards - not really sure if a x470 motherboard is a good choice, pretty sure it supports overclocking

b550 motherboards - newest line of mid range motherboards, not sure if they support overclocking

b450 motherboards - mid rage line of motherboards, not sure if they support overclocking

as for ram, there are a lot of options, but in my opinion the best budget ram is around 3200MHz cl16.

as for ssds, there are also alot of options and depends on your budget and what storage size you need but try to look for corsair mp300 or mp510, samsung 860 evo or 970 evo, addlink s70 or s68, something in this range of prices.

How do I tell of the clamps on the CPU cooler are faulty or if I installed it wrong?

Also, I need to figure out where the fan headers on the mobo (I know where the fan 2 header is) it’s the Gigabyte X570 Gaming X.
