Best air cpu cooler for Corsair 280x

Zoskiacvltvs

So, I am looking to switch the stock cooler on a new pc build for a better one for a mild overclock.

The pc specs are as follow:

CPU: Ryzen 5 2600 ( Stock cooler)

Mobo: Asrock b450M Steel legend

RAM: Teamgeoup night hawk 3000 mhz rgb (quite tall, may interfere with a big cooler)

GPU: MSI gaming X Radeon 5500 xt

PSU: EVGA 600W 80 GOLD PLUS

Case: Corsir 280x rgb

I am running 7 ll120 fans as 2 fromt, 2 bottom intake and 2 top, 1 back exhaust.

What would be the better cooling option? Also I am in Mexico so right now covid makes buying pretty hard, though amazo has some decent options.

Any help would be very appreciated!

Noctua NH-l12s seems to be the best low profile cooler. This is the link for the cooler on the amazon page for Mexico.

I got that case too. Height compatibility is terrible at most really good tower cooler are just a hair to big and down blower styles cooler can't good air flow as they press up really close to the glass.

I am using a attic freeze 33 esport in. I added a second fan to have push pull which helped alot. The price jump from buying the cooler with 1 fan to 2 fans is steep but if I had to buy that cooler again I would just get the dual fan version. As compatibility of adding a fan to that cooler sucks as the clips don't hold other fans well.

I think the Arctic freezer extreme rev2 would be a good choice as its a dual tower that should fit

But after building in that case and using the system I would get an aio

I put a Noctua C14S in my wife's tower on a 3600. It does really well. About 10 degrees hotter under Kombuster 12 threads than my tower with a D15, but my tower has a bit better airflow as well.

Oh yea forgot you can mount underneath. On top would be bad as its so close to the glass panel.

I forgot about the dark rock tf. If you want a down blow style cooler. It would probably be your best choice.

I am terrified of an aio leaking on my pc again. I will check the cooler, although your dark rock suggestion I feel is the best. Thanks a lot.

Np,

i dbl checked its 40C idle and 70-75c depending on my room temp.

fyi the fans that come with cooler have a anti-vibration pad on them and the clips account for the little extra. the LL120 may or may not secure tightly because of this.  i solve this problem with tiny foam pads that i had laying around. im sure you can find some online or in the arts/crafts area of a store.

Excellent, I think i will buy that one, noctua prices are insane here, but the arctic esports one is actually reasonably priced. Thank you very much!
