Some phones require that you manually enable MTP or Mass Storage Mode in order for the SD card to show up over USB on a computer.

Interesting, lol.

But to answer your question, again, plug the SD directly into your PC. I don't believe Android allows external devices to access the SD card.

I am not sure how Android works but do not if the external SD Card is formatted as an ext4 or ext3, Windows will not be able to view it natively if you put the SD card into your computer.

What the hell were youbu yin? If you want to upgrade, i would recomend t-mobile revvlry and revvlry plus, $250-300 and a great buy for budgets, i happen to own one. If you bought ac heap phone like that, any decent sdcard type probobly wont work. And not all aps will work on an sdcard, ive tried, even with adb it has its limits.

There's lots of apps that let you copy files using a wi-fi connection.  Can be murky from a privacy perspective, particularly since you have to give them access to storage.  I use KDEConnect.  Dunno how well it works in Windows, but it's not KDE only these days.

@HotCheeseNachozAndBurritoz,  the SD card will be formatted FAT32, not an issue.

If your PC doesn't have an SD reader, USB dongles for this can be cheap, I can see one for NZD6.50.  :)) more than a third of the cost of the phone...
