Android Phone Sd Card Not Showing Up On Pc

Do you know how to use adb?

 

You can use adb to remove the bloatware and free space.

so i have an android 9.0 phone i got on black Friday sale last year for 18nzd free shipping i got a 32gb sd card for it for 8nzd and i use it as the internal storage as phone only has 4gb built in and only 400mb free space android uses the rest of the space

so i wanted to copy some files to my phone off my pc but when i go to this pc on my computer and click on my phone it only shows the internal 4gb storage no sd card

what can i do

Some phones require that you manually enable MTP or Mass Storage Mode in order for the SD card to show up over USB on a computer.

But to answer your question, again, plug the SD directly into your PC. I don't believe Android allows external devices to access the SD card.

I am not sure how Android works but do not if the external SD Card is formatted as an ext4 or ext3, Windows will not be able to view it natively if you put the SD card into your computer.

@HotCheeseNachozAndBurritoz,  the SD card will be formatted FAT32, not an issue.

If your PC doesn't have an SD reader, USB dongles for this can be cheap, I can see one for NZD6.50.  :)) more than a third of the cost of the phone...
