You can get an RX 590 for about the same price as that 1050. The 590 will be considerably faster at 1080p gaming.

But the RX 590 would be considered a bottleneck. The processor will limit the performance of the RX 590, and it has a lot of memory.

It won't, you can do better by picking Ryzen 5 1600.

Example of a better build : https://pcpartpicker.com/guide/DHTwrH/entry-level-amd-gaming-build

Not really if, if talking new, not used.

Get a ryzen cpu and a better motherboard. You don't buy an inferior gpu for the same price just because better one would be limited by cpu. That makes no sense.

$50 above the budget, but a lot better then the one you posted.

The CPU is the Ryzen 1600 AF, that is the newer version but the link goes to the old one, check on the shop page for the AF in the model number not the AE, link to the correct on Amazon as example: Link.

Someone can probably find a similar PSU for cheaper that might put the build even closer to the budget.

You must get faster ram, 3000 at least. No additional storage? 240gb will fill up fast.

1600AF is the same as the 2600, if you want just add that case and PSU to the build i suggested and it would be good(if you don't mind blowing the budget even more), the cooler is only necessary if you think the stock one is too loud otherwise it would be fine.

Oh, I see, his build was the one with slow ram, not yours. Sorry about that.

No problem, but I'm not sure if the 2600/1600AF can actually run/benefit from 3000Mhz+ RAM, but it would make a upgrades easier, and the price difference is pretty small anyway.

I kept the non-modular PSU because I'm not sure if they're identical, so played it safe with the one I know is well recommended.

@KaitouX

About the graphics card, the RX 590 is actually cheaper than the 1660 Super you suggested. The RX 590 has 8GB of GDDR5 memory while the 1660 Super has 6GB of GDDR6 memory. However, the 1660 Super seems to be faster than the RX 590. I'm sure you can benefit from either the RX 590 if you want large amount of dedicated memory or the 1660 Super if you want higher performance.

The "esports gaming" in the first post kinda implies that you won't be using it for any memory heavy applications, and more memory only makes sense when talking about similarly fast cards, in this case the 1660S is better at everything but memory capacity, so it doesn't really matter that much. If the talks were about 2060 or 5600/5700, then memory would be more important, in this case it isn't.

This is the link to the 1600 AF @KaitouX mentioned. It's $85 on amazon. You gotta make sure it's the correct item number (YD1600BBAFBOX) or else you might end up with the 1600 (14nm).

For $5 extra you get 3600 MHz ram: Click me

In your case I'd say 1660 Super > RX 590

I would get the 1660 super over the rx 590. Go with the 3600mhz ram as well.
