Any suggestions for a laptop wifi card on a Linux system?

I have an intel AC-9260 wifi card in my laptop. It's working fine with some minor bugs, but I wanted to know if there's anything better for a linux machine. Please share your thoughts, thanks.

I would stick to intel cards. Broadcom and realtek cards are mostly hit and miss and their drivers are mostly shit on linux.

Tertiary question:  macOS is BSD which is sort of Linux incestuous. Would looking for stuff that hackintoshes be a good way to find stuff that works well on Linux?

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.
