Thank you so much! Am I matching the NB Frequency or the DRAM Frequency?

DRAM frequency, seems like you have 2666MHz CL19 (DDR has double the data rate than actual frequency, also slightly behind because BCLK is not at 100MHz)

I have an HP Omen 15T (2017)
THIS is the closest thing I can find that is most similar to my laptop.

Basically I have an 1TB HHD, 4K display (to my knowledge), 4 core i7, 1060 GPU, and 8gbs of ram

I would like to upgrade the ram as I've been doing my video editing on Davinci resolve 16 and its been eating up more ram than when I play (low-end) games with my friends.

Basically, What specific ram should I get to 16gbs (unless if you recommenced more like 32 or something)? I know that desktop ram is different from laptop ram and I don't wanna screw up and waste time getting the wrong thing.
Attached is the internals if that helps. THANK YOU!!

Any 8GB SODIMM that's unregistered and has the same frequency and timings rating as the current stick will do. You can check the current stick's specs with CPU-Z

CPU: i7-2600K 4751MHz 1.44V (software) --> 1.47V at the back of the socket Motherboard: Asrock Z77 Extreme4 (BCLK: 103.3MHz) CPU Cooler: Noctua NH-D15 RAM: Adata XPG 2x8GB DDR3 (XMP: 2133MHz 10-11-11-30 CR2, custom: 2203MHz 10-11-10-26 CR1 tRFC:230 tREFI:14000) GPU: Asus GTX 1070 Dual (Super Jetstream vbios, +70(2025-2088MHz)/+400(8.8Gbps)) SSD: Samsung 840 Pro 256GB (main boot drive), Transcend SSD370 128GB PSU: Seasonic X-660 80+ Gold Case: Antec P110 Silent, 5 intakes 1 exhaust Monitor: AOC G2460PF 1080p 144Hz (150Hz max w/ DP, 121Hz max w/ HDMI) TN panel Keyboard: Logitech G610 Orion (Cherry MX Blue) with SteelSeries Apex M260 keycaps Mouse: BenQ Zowie FK1

If you share with us the exact HP P/N or Model number from the bottom of the laptop, usually found on a sticker, we can better advise you.

Desktop: KiRaShi-Intel-2022 (i5-12600K, RTX2060) Mobile: OnePlus 5T | Koodo - 75GB Data + Data Rollover for $45/month
Laptop: Dell XPS 15 9560 (the real 15" MacBook Pro that Apple didn't make) Tablet: iPad Mini 5 | Lenovo IdeaPad Duet 10.1
Camera: Canon M6 Mark II | Canon Rebel T1i (500D) | Canon SX280 | Panasonic TS20D Music: Spotify Premium (CIRCA '08)

Thank you for your help

Crucial.com's memory finder has all the information you need to upgrade from what appears to be a single 8GB module you have now.
