Find the difference

Im having trouble finding the difference between these 2 kits of ram.

Is it only the tested latency?

yes, one is 16-18-18-36 (faster), one is 16-20-20-38 (slower)

They have different timings. The lower the timings the better at the same given frequency.

lol thats pretty funny because the faster one is cheaper where i live , i thought that the bigger the numbers the faster.

idk what my retailer is thinking.

they probably don't manually track the stock and demand of every item, there's some automatic components to inventory tracking that go into price. doesn't always make sense.

Yeah thats probably the case

There may also be some other factors, like one of the sticks being made with memory chips with higher overclocking potential (ex samsung x die vs micron/hynix chips)

but most likely it's just a different price due to the skus imported at different times (different exchange rate, whatever)
