Z390 Aorus Master max Amperage on all fan connectors?

I currently have 6x 3000 RPM fans connected to my motherboard and 1x 200mm fan.

 

The current amperage is 2.5A (0.55A + 0.55A + 0.3A + 0.3A + 0.3A + 0.3A + 0.2A). It works fine

 

I want to add two last ML120 Pros which each take 0.225A. This would bring total to 2.95A.

 

How much the connectors can take?

I'm just wondering whether I have to connect them to my motherboard or the PSU.

 

2x 2A is 4A and I'll be using 2.95A. Will I be okay?

Usually the Fan headers are a minimum of 1AMP each, so the total for you seems to be 8x1= 8A.

So if you optimize the fan connectors, you should be fine.

Had to ask because there isn't anything in the manual sadly.

What do you mean by optimise?

Don't plug all your fans into a single header.

Max 3-4 fans per header, but you could do 2x fans per header.

Each fan currently has it's own header, that's obvious with 0.55A fans. 

 

The ones I will buy will be 0.255A so 0.510A for both on one header. 

I hope each connector can take 1A.. That would be awesome.

That has been the standard for quite some time, so for such a high end motherboard, i wouldn't doubt it.

SYS_FAN 1-4 are 1 amp, SYS_FAN_PUMP 5-6 should be 2 amp each. You'll be fine.

I forgot I will be adding one more Revo D5 pump, need to find out the amperage on that too, but I'll probably just use a splitter to control the speed of both pumps at the same time.

Update: Gigabyte replied to me and they said 1A per header. I'm fine there.

EKWB replied about the pump and I can connect both PWM connector to one header with splitter as it's just for speed signal and takes like 0 amperage.

So, i was trying to search for some Answers about the same thing but a need to put 4+4 fans ina a 48cm radiator.The fan that i will be using is the Noctua NF-P12 redux-1700 PWM. The board of specification say that consume only :

Max. input power

 1,08 W

Max. input current

0,09 A

Operating voltage

 12 V

 

That mean that i can put like 10 fan in just one Header on my Z390 Master? I will not do it, actually i was thinkin on put only 3 at each . but it's norma to require such low amperage?? I have another 3 140mm Noctua fan on my pc and 1x120mmx15mm. Thanks and sorry for reopen this. 

 

PS: Does the Fan/Pump Header really has 2A ?

Yeah it's normal. Average fan takes 0.18A. My Noctuas were 0.30A or so so that's almost double but 3000 RPM. You should be okay. I wouldn't put more than 1A on per connector.
