So with Huawei banned, Is Honor banned as well because I was thinking of getting a Honor phone.

Hm, ok.  I guess so long as it's for sale it's each to their own, but personally I'd just avoid them due to this whole controversy.  Maybe it's all made up and there's no problems and they just want you to think there are, and giving up is letting them win.  Maybe there are serious issues and they should be avoided and banned.  I don't know, don't really want to get into it, and I don't think this is the place regardless, but that's just my opinion: due to the uncertainty of the situation, for my own sake I would avoid them.

Aside from how it's getting unbanned, Honor is a subbrand of Huawei so if they were to reinstate the ban Honor is affected as well. Idk, even during the period of the ban I bought a P30 Lite and I'm still really happy with it.
