???

You want a 1Gb connection? You'll need the Gigabit plan, and it'll be enough.

You want a 1GB connection? You'll need the 8 Gigabit plan or higher.

You want a 10Gb connection? Yes, you'll need the 10Gb plan.

Just be aware most consumer network equipment only supports 1Gb max.

Comcast charges $299 a month plus up to $1000 installation costs for 2 Gbps Fiber to the home. AND thats heavily discounted, as it technically metro Ethernet service. My guessing is your looking at a few grand a month if not more.

If you want this level of service your not calling the 1-800 ISP number. Your looking for the number you need to call to get Metro Ethernet (Fiber). Most likely an ISP that caters to large businesses. Most of the larger ISP's like Comcast, AT&T and such will have such service, but its hard to say what something like this will cost. Keep in mind with such services you should be expected to pay not only a larger monthly bill but probably pay for any and all equipment and cabling they need to run to get it to your home.

I just want to sit back and watch the world burn.
